SILVERWOOD

Farms 30, 31, & 32 Oil Well Farms (2 - 4 Hunters on Each Farm)
We have divided this large parcel into three hunting farms. The whole area is in the CRP and the great grass cover will just keep getting better and better. Each of these farms is a good hunt for big running bird dogs, big groups, or big walkers, and there is abundant cover for lots of birds. These farms make a great place for up to twelve hunters to hunt together but separated into groups of four. Make your reservation well in advance for that kind of a hunt. Be very careful to honor set back boundaries on these farms, we undertook a long legal battle to get this land, and we don't want to lose it.

Farms 33, 34, 35, 36, & 37 (2 to 4 Hunters on Each Farm)
These farms are real nice hunts in the fall, and, as the farmer learns what we need, for great all season farms, they will get better and better. Intensely farmed, there is a little set aside, some good ditches, and a few swails, and some Sudan / sorghum. We have been hunting farms 34 & 35 together for winter hunting, and the hunters have done very well. Farm #37 is new but similar to the others. Great some years but not always good, depending on the farming any year.
