Weiner roast at noon, 100 target sporting clays shoot after lunch.

A family oriented outing with great food and fun for all. Share this day with lots of other families who share your love for dogs and hunting.

August 15, come on out and warm your dog and gun up on some quail or chukar.

September

Cornfield hunt when the farmer chops corn for silage
This old-fashioned cornfield drive hunt will consist of morning cornfield drives—lunch at Farmland’s member center—and afternoon follow up field hunts. We will help you join together into groups of 8 to 12 hunters for this exciting day of old fashioned pheasant hunting. Call the office for availability, which is determined by the timing of the corn harvest.. All day 7-pheasant limit and lunch $150.

October

Opening Day of Michigan Pheasant Season
During the Michigan pheasant season, Farmland invites you to take your Farmland limit PLUS the State of Michigan limit of 2 cocks.

Deer Hunting
Farmland has a limited number of excellent deer hunting sites available for the bow, gun and late-bow/black powder hunting season. Each sites can be occupied by up to 2 adult hunters and 1 minor hunter.

November

November 15—30
Special No Guest fee for any hunt.
Farmland will allow you to bring unlimited guests with no guest fees. You save $25 per hunter!

Couples Day
This wonderful day will include a 5 pheasant limit hunt and while one of you is hunting, the other will stay warm at the clubhouse, cook a great wild game lunch, and make a hunting motif holiday wreath. At about 1:00 pm we’ll all have a family style feast. Total price $150. Preston will buy the wine.

December

Bonus Action

Our farms in St. Johns and Yale are in the area with the state late pheasant hunting season from December 1 to December 15. The state limit of 2 roosters per day may be taken in addition to your Farmland limit.

January

Annual Bargain Hunter’s Round Up
No Bag Limit, All Species Hunt &Wild Game Recipe Contest Pot Luck Lunch—Cook and bring your favorite wild game dish to pass, along with a written copy of your recipe and you will be entered to win a great prize. Fellow hunters and employees of Farmland will judge all entries. Door prizes will be awarded during the lunch break. We’ll stock 3 pheasants and 1 chukar per hunter, and waive the guest fee. A value of up to$123. for Only $80.00 per hunter! And some of the best food on the planet.

February

Honest Abe Log Cabin Style Hunt & Lunch
All day 4 pheasant limit hunt per hunter, No Guest Fee, FREE Western Option (which means NO limit on Pheasant, Quail & Chukar) and Lunch—Bean Soup, Bread, Pie & Beverage. A Value of $130 for only $90 per hunter. This is really a fun day.

Bird hunting and Wild Game Cooking Class for couples
This wonderful day will include include a 5 pheasant limit hunt and while one of you is hunting, we will have a game-bird cooking class, which will include the birds and all supplies, a pamphlet with the recipes, and hands on cooking and coaching. The hunters will come in at about 1:00 and we will have a family style feast, eating the handiwork of the cooking class. Preston will buy the wine.

March

Annual St. Patrick’s Day Hunt
This one is for hunters who like lots of action! All day 10 pheasant limit hunt per hunter, FREE western option, NO guest fees and lunch at the Harrington Inn. A value of $258 for only $195.

April

The season is open until April 30! We’ll have all species of birds for your late season hunt. Our cover usually comes through the winter in very good condition, and the hunting will be EXCELLENT! Please don’t let an early warm spell get your priorities out of wack! There is still time for some more great hunting before we put the guns away for the summer.

May Through Sept

Preston H. Mann Dog Training Seminars
In these seminars you’ll be there every step of the way. From the most basic obedience—heel, come, whoa—through handling in the field, where you will learn to steer your dog to specific objectives without using voice, whistle, or hand signals. Finally, developing your dog’s natural instincts as a hunter to make your dog a skillful bird finder with a hunting pattern and behavior that will please you.

Tune up Class for trained dogs
We’ll show your dog a couple of birds and give her/him a run. We’ll help you evaluate your dog’s performance, answer your questions and offer suggestions on how to solve problems or how to improve your dogs’ behavior. Price $85. per lesson. Call for appointment.
