Our Advantage

We're the largest game-bird hunting preserve in Michigan. We hunt on over 5000 acres which makes us nearly 10 times larger than the next closest.

You have a choice of one of thirty different farms. The farms average 120 acres so even if you miss the bird on the first flush, you will often be able to mark where the bird lands and get another chance without leaving your hunting area.
|
|
You will be the only hunter on a farm, except for the hunters you bring with you. If you wish you can have the farm all to yourself for the whole day.
|
|
You control the pace of your hunt. You always get your farm for the whole day, 8:00 AM until the DNR regulated time to quit. ( approximately ½ hour before sunset.) You'll never have to hurry to get done by noon so other hunters can get the field.

No matter how big or small your group is, from 1 to 120, we'll have safe exciting hunting areas for all of you.

We have the wildest best looking pheasants, quail, and chukars available on the continent. |

The Farmland Experience
We specialize in "no wimps"pheasant hunting. That is we are for and about R-E-A-L bird hunters who know what they are doing, have their own hunting dogs and who are very independent. If you think preserve hunting can't possibly be THE R-E-A-L THING we think we'll change your mind. We further the experience with a shooting season that runs from August to May which means you can hunt birds late summer, fall, winter and early spring. |
The Farms
Name your cover preference, we have it. Crop field, swail, ditches, "CRP" and other set-aside acreage, much of which is surrounded by good fence rows, with some wood lots scattered in. Most of the hunting land we use is involved in production agriculture, and with our long preserve season we see crops at all of their stages of development. |

The Game
We offer big, bold hard flying ringneck pheasants, plump wild flying chukars and explosive bob-white quail. The Mann family has been in the bird hunting business for many years, we know how to select proven stock, our game is simply the best. |
